I like how the Harry Potter Cafe in Hongdae brings to life the Wizarding World in Seoul, but one thing that I really love about this themed cafe is their menu selection! If you’re thinking about visiting soon, expect to be delighted with their food, beverage, and dessert offerings, which complement the whole magical motif. Here are the menu options that you can book:
1. Best Set for 2-3 People

The Best Set at 943 King’s Cross Cafe in Seoul is packed with all the treats that students of Hogwarts enjoy during their start-of-term-feast. The platter features a big, juicy, and delicious Dragon’s Leg (turkey leg), which is good for up to 2-3 people. The plate also comes with guac-topped french fries (with 2 dipping sauces), nachos, dinner rolls, salad, and a generous serving of pineapples!

For drinks, you get two. For the first one, you’ll choose between the Wizard’s Chocolate or Wizard’s Green Tea (hot or iced), which they top with either a chocolate-flavored Sorting Hat or a Wand. For the second drink — and this is where it gets more exciting! – you have to option to get an alcoholic beverage or a non-alcoholic beverage. They have plenty of coffee and alcohol-infused beverages to choose from, but I suggest getting the Wizard’s Beer (or butterbeer!) to complete the experience! (TIP: Get the alcoholic version of butterbeer!)

The Best Set for 2 people costs ₩54,000 or $47, but you can book it on WAUG below for only ₩43,200 or $38! If it’s your first time to book on WAUG, you’ll get an extra ₩3,000 or $3 discount coupon that you can use to further lower the cost!

2. Wizard Set for 2 People

943 King’s Cross Cafe has a huge selection of cakes and desserts that satisfy! If you’ll visit with a friend or date, I recommend getting the Wizard Set for 2 especially if you want to have something on the sweet side. It comes with the following:
- Wizard’s Chocolate OR Wizard’s Green Tea (hot or iced)
- 1 coffee or alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage
- 2 desserts (cake)
The Wizard Set costs ₩32,000 or $28 on site, but you can book it a discounted price below for just ₩25,600 or $23!
3. 943 Set for 1

If you plan to visit the Harry Potter cafe in Seoul alone, you’ll love the 943 Set, which comes with Wizard’s Chocolate OR Wizard’s Green Tea, 1 dessert, and jellybeans that’ll remind you of Bertie Botts Every Flavour beans! (This is actually the only set that comes with jellybeans!) This is perfect if you actually want to study, read a book, or work in a cafe (they have fast WiFi and plugs at the Great Hall), so you will definitely enjoy the experience.
Thr 943 SET costs ₩19,500 or $17, but WAUG offers it below for only ₩15,600 or $14!
What to Expect When You Visit the Harry Potter Cafe in Seoul

After talking about the menu, let’s now move onto what you can expect in 943 King’s Cross cafe. As a Potterhead myself, I appreciate the concept and design of the place. From the iconic brooms and the Ollivanders-themed entrance, to the Great Hall and the cozy dining areas that feel like the Gryffindor Common Room, this Harry Potter cafe in Seoul definitely did a fantastic job! (I think the trio and their families would enjoy this place.)
Here some of the things that you can expect when you visit:
1. A wizard-worthy welcome
Despite being curious about what awaits me inside 943 King’s Cross, I couldn’t help but linger at the cafe’s facade on my first visit. Seeing the Broom Parking on one corner and hearing the film’s OST that was blasted by the speakers, it made me feel like I was home.

But before this guide gets too corny, let’s talk more about the Broom Parking. This is, without a doubt, the cafe’s most famous photo zone — and for good reason. Here you can experience riding a Quidditch broomstick, so make sure to visit this ‘parking lot’ before you enter the cafe.

When you’re done taking photos of and with the broom, make your way inside the building. The first thing that you’ll see when you visit this Harry Potter cafe in Seoul are wall shelves filled with wand boxes. Yes, just like in Ollivander’s! I really like the idea of having this by the entrance because, after all, a student’s journey at Hogwarts begins at a wand shop like Ollivander’s.
2. Selection of cakes

943 King’s Cross is first and foremost a cafe — and a bloody great one at that! It’s not clear whether they employ houselves or stole Hagrid’s pink birthday cake recipe, but one thing’s for sure: their sweets taste as good as they look. To try some of the cafe’s amazing cake creations you can book the Wizard Set for 2 or the 943 Set for 1 here.
3. Wizard drinks

If you’re looking for refreshing drinks, I recommend the Wizard’s Chocolate or the Wizard’s Green Tea. Of all the drinks they serve here, I think these two beverages are the best. Aside from the taste, the presentation is outstanding — just look at the Sorting Hat!
4. Hogwarts Feast-inspired food

Those of us who’ve seen the Harry Potter films know how wizards enjoy their start-of-term feast. The food looks delicious, and I bet many of us have wondered what it’s like to be in Ron Weasley’s shoes. But, hey! If you want to experience a Hogwarts-inspired meal yourself, you need not be a wizard or witch. Just come on over to 943 King’s Cross in Hongdae and order their Best Set!
5. Floors of fun

943 King’s Cross is a multi-storey cafe that offers various experiences on each floor. I’ll leave out the themes offered in each so as not to ruin the element of surprise, but you can look forward to cozy and intimate spaces that feel like the Gryffindor common room!

Oh, the walls here are filled with interesting portraits (though inanimate), quotes, and paraphernalia, so make sure to check ’em out as well!
6. House Uniforms

This Harry Potter cafe in Seoul also has Hogwarts uniforms that you can put on for the perfect wizard snap. Whether you’ve sorted yourself into Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, you’ll find a wardrobe that fits!

Of course, if you have no clue as to which house you belong to, you can just put on the Sorting Hat. Hopefully it tells you where to go!

7. Wide and quirky spaces

If you’re in Korea right now or have been before, you probably know how cafes are ubiquitous in Seoul. Stripped down of all Harry Potter decors, I still think 943 King’s Cross is a must-visit coffee shop. There are many tables (and ‘dining’ beds!) that you can occupy here (with plugs and all), so whether you’re coming alone, with a date, or as a group, you’ll definitely enjoy your time.
