Hello Kitty Island Museum & Cafe in Jeju Island
If you will travel to Jeju soon and like Hello Kitty, Instagrammable cafes, or the color pink, then make your way to Hello Kitty Island in Seogwipo City! The attraction, which doubles as a museum and coffeeshop, features the cute Sanrio icon in various exhibits, creative spaces, and even a rooftop garden. There are 3 themed floors to explore, so you can look forward to a satisfying visit! Here are some of the things that you can look forward to when you visit:
1/F: Hello Kitty Island WISH Zone
The first floor of Hello Kitty Island in Jeju is dedicated to introducing Hello Kitty as a character. Here you can learn about her (very interesting) background, aspirations, and even her height! Displays of her home as well as art halls are also set up on this floor, but the one thing that you shouldn’t miss here is the spot called Wish Diary. This is where guests can write their wishes on the screen and send them to the virtual Hello Kitty Island.
2/F: Hello Kitty Island MIRACLE Zone & Cafe
Where dreams unfold is the tagline of the second floor of Hello Kitty Island in Jeju. Displayed here are exhibits that show the Sanrio character fulfilling here dreams as she travels across the world. You’ll also get a tour of Hello Kitty’s pink room, which will give you a peek of her huge personal space.
Located on the same level is the Insta-worthy Hello Kitty Island Cafe, which is where you can get delicious cakes and drinks that are too cute to consume!
3/F: Hello Kitty Island HEALING Zone
On the topmost floor of Jeju Island’s Hello Kitty museum is the Healing Zone, where guests can enjoy the outdoor park and a special 3D show. There’s also a dedicated playground spot and activity area where kids can rest and enjoy light activities.
