1. Hidden Beach

Tucked away in the middle of towering limestone cliffs, Hidden Beach in Palawan impresses with white sand, corals, and perfect turquoise water. Getting here may be quite difficult (you will have to leave your tour boat and swim a short distance with your guide), but it’ll definitely be worth it. If you’re able to avoid the crowd, Hidden Beach will give you the feeling of exclusivity and luxury.

Hidden Beach in Palawan was featured in Condé Nast Traveler’s 30 Best Beaches in the World. It’s located in El Nido and part of Tour C.

2. Nacpan Beach

Nacpan is a 3-km beach in Palawan that’s got everything you could ever want for a worthwhile holiday. With inviting waters, tall trees, and fine sand, you’ll fall in love with this place in a matter of minutes. Never mind the dirt road that you’ll have to take to reach this place; the party scene at night will surely make up for it!

Nacpan Beach in Palawan is in El Nido and part of Tour E.

3. Seven Commandos Beach

The secret to enjoy Seven Commandos beach in Palawan is to immerse yourself in the community. When you get here, look for the shacks that sell fresh coconut, shaved ice desserts, and ‘dirty’ ice cream — some of the cheap treats that’ll help you cool down as you take in the undeniable beauty of the place. It’d feel nice to sit or lie down on the sand, but if it’s swimming that you’re after, the boats on the shore will probably make you uncomfortable.

Seven Commandos Beach is part of the El Nido Island Tour A. The entire 8-hour tour usually costs ₱1,200 or $24, but you can book it at a discount on WAUG here. (New users get an extra $3 coupon!)

4. Banol Beach

Banol is possibly among the least popular Palawan beaches (snorkelers will argue otherwise!), but there’s a good reason why it’s on our list: it’s a great place to enjoy a meal. The beach that has a cliff on its back is equipped with nice huts that you can use, which makes it an intimate place to socialize with locals and other tourists.

Banol Beach is in Coron, Palawan.

5. Las Cabanas Beach

If you’re not a fan of commercialized beach areas, this place may not be for you (but the area is actually not fully developed). Here you can find a couple of restaurants, bars, and spas that are worth the visit. If you’re looking for a place in El Nido where you can enjoy the sunset and have a drink (like good-quality drinks!), this might be the place for you.

Las Cabanas Beach is in El Nido, Palawan.
