1. Isola (이솔라)
Let’s start with a restaurant that offers a view of the Han River: Isola! This is an Italian restaurant in Chavit Island, a beautiful dining complex that is built on Hangang. They offer two lunch sets: the Pasta Course and the Steak Set, which both come with appetizer, drinks, and coffee/tea. We tried the Risotto Al Pomodoro Gratinato (Traditional menu) and the Spaghetti Aglio Olio Con Gamberi (Signature menu), and both were really excellent! I’d definitely recommend Isola for couples who are looking for romantic restaurants in Seoul with a view.

2. The Dam (더담)
The Dam is one of the Korean restaurants in Hongdae that I absolutely enjoy! While the view that it offers is only that of the neighborhood, I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Aside from the cozy interior dining space, they also have an outdoor section that’s really perfect for a small gathering and a date night.
The Dam is also a Blue Ribbon Survey lister — comparable to being in the Michelin Guide — so you really should give it a try, especially if you frequent Hongdae a lot! Their specialties include the Sirloin Garlic Stem Wrap, Charcoal Grilled Ginseng Pork, and Grilled Prawn and Scallop, which you can all book as a set on WAUG. Here are more details:

Ah, the famous Walking on the Cloud! Located on the 59th floor of the iconic 63 Tower in Seoul, this fine dining restaurant impresses with dramatic views of the capital. From the picturesque Han River to the magnificent cityscapes, you’ll really fall in love with the place in no time! At Walking in the Cloud, you can choose to get their Lunch Garden Salad Bar Set (Weekday/Weekend), which comes with salad, chargrilled beef tenderloin steak, and coffee/tea. 4. Top Cloud 52 (탑클라우드52)
Another famous restaurant in Seoul with a view is Top Cloud 52. While the Top Cloud in Insa-dong and Gongdeok-gung are great dining spots as well, I like 52 the most because it’s really high up! The place was designed to look like a penthouse, and you get to enjoy the view of Gangnam and Han River from here.
Top Cloud 52 offers a semi-buffet option. You get to choose one (1) main and enjoy unlimited helpings from their their soup, salad, and dessert buffet table. They also have full course meals for lunch and dinner.
